Neel Pure Indigo Handwoven Artisanal Wool Rug
For Neel rug we are using only the 100% natural wool which is completely naturally dyed by the artisans using organic materials like tree bark, eucalyptus and herbs. Each batch of organic dye is made separately and custom to ensure richness in colors. Complete process is done by hand, which mean each piece is unique and one of a kind. A classic rug, Neel will enhance interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically.
This artisan family is a 5th generation family of master craftsmen who have handed down a unique technique of weaving rugs on an ancient loom which dates back hundreds of years. We personally collaborate with the family and intend to support their indigenous craft as there are very few families left now who can weave on this particular ancient loom. Ethically made, Neel rug is a classic neutral piece that will compliment in any interior space with its earthy pallet and stripes pattern. The white portion is undyed natural sheep wool which is handspun.
